Happy 24th Anniversary

Jill Today is our 24th Anniversary of marriage. And I remember:

1. When we first met: Cobbler Shoppe
2. The initial time I spoke at your home church in Pinehurst
3. The first time we went out with a group after church: Pappy’s Pizza
4. The first time I heard you sing and play piano: Glad Tidings Youth Rally
5. When I asked you to marry me
6. When you said “yes” :)
7. When we began to plan our wedding and reception in the park
8. When I took you to the dump on our honeymoon to see the black bear…and we saw them up close and personal
9. Our first apartment in Golden Valley, MN. It was nice!
10. Our first ministry together at Word of Live in Minneapolis, MN
11. Our first car we bought together (Buick) and first truck (Mitsubishi)
12. When we moved to Denver and found out how strong we both were in our faith
13. Our first and only church in Post Falls where we were pastors
14. The day you told me "we’re going to have a baby"!
15. The day we drove slowly home from the hospital with Valerie Kathleen Hall
16. The day we discovered we were going to have another baby, Alex
17. Our trip to Yellowstone with out little bubble camper and family of four
18. The day we both felt called to missions to Russia (1992)
19. Our long hours in the car visiting churches raising that first budget
20. Moving into the old house in Jelgava, Latvija as a new missionary family
21. Re-locating to huge Moscow, Russia
22. Watching your ministry develop as you share in Bible classes each


morning in our journeys from corner to corner of Russia
23. Our first (and only) Holland / America cruise
24. Our first grand daughter

This has been a wonderful and exciting journey with you…I look forward to see where the next 24 years takes us. Thanks for walking with me! I love you!
